Peggy Sue Got Married was yet another movie that Glenn worked on with the wonderful Francis Ford Coppola.

Peggy Sue Got Married is the story of Peggy Sue Kelcher Bodell, who is separated from her husband Charlie, her high school sweetheart. As she attends her high school reunion, she is faced with many familiar faces from her past. She begins to question what she chose for herself in life, and says that if she could go back and do it all again, she'd do a lot of things differently.

When Peggy Sue passes out at the reunion, she wakes up back in high school.

Realizing that she's got a second chance to change her life, Peggy Sue branches out and away from Charlie, attempting to create her own destiny. In the end, she realizes that despite the ups and downs she's had with Charlie, he's also the father of her children and someone she has loved since she was a teenager.

Kathleen Turner was nominated for an Oscar for her role as Peggy Sue, and it was nominated for a Best Picture Golden Globe as well. Kathleen Turner is wonderful as Peggy Sue, and you identify with her almost manic need to redirect her future while in the past. Nicolas Cage plays her love interest Charlie and ... let's just get it out of the way - I do not know what the man was channelling or what kind of things he was smoking when he thought "Hey, you know what Charlie needs? A really weird, nasally voice that makes people go WTF?" It was honestly the most distracting thing in the world to hear for 104 minutes. I think he was great in the role, but the voice just got to me so much. Dial it down a thousand, Nic.

Glenn plays Terry, one of Charlie's friends (along with Jim Carrey as Walter, Wil Shriner as Arthur and Harry Basil as Leon) and a member of Charlie's singing group, The Definitions.

Glenn's role isn't huge, but I know there was a lot left out of the film - the scripts I've seen have a longer opening, and a lot more dialogue at the reunion.

Unfortunately the DVD doesn't have any extras aside from a couple movie trailers. It would be great to get an extended release with commentary and extra features. Keep your eyes peeled for Helen Hunt as Peggy Sue's daughter, and Don Stark (That 70s Show) as a classmate of Peggy Sue and Charlie's.

Fun facts: Lisa Jane Persky (Dolores) was in The Cotton Club, as was Glenn. Nic Cage was in Rumble Fish along with Glenn, as was Sofia Coppola, who plays Peggy Sue's sister Nancy here.
